They think you’re stupid.
That’s honestly how the Democratic Party and the underlying establishment Left view average Americans.
After leveraging the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to target their most prominent political adversary, they are now engaging in perhaps the worst gas-lighting strategy in modern American history, by not only claiming that violence against law enforcement officers is bad, but that such violence is committed solely by anyone deemed as a political enemy.
“The overheated rhetoric of Trump, his supporters, and Republican leaders is threatening the lives of law enforcement,” Senator Chris Murphy responded when an armed man attempted to breach FBI offices in Ohio.
Moronic Congressman Eric Swalwell decried “violent rhetoric against lawmakers and law enforcement,” while soon-to-be-ex Congresswoman Liz Cheney took a break from the C-SPAN clown show that is the January 6th committee to note that she is “ashamed to hear members of my party attacking the integrity of the FBI,” and that such criticism “put the lives of patriotic public servants at risk.”
Isn’t it strange how their attitude towards threats of violence — and eventual actual violence — is so fluid? Democrats and their cronies are falling over themselves to condemn even criticism of a government entity, citing risk of physical harm, and yet delighted in fueling nationwide riots throughout 2020 under the banner of Black Lives Matter…
The current Vice President of the United States raised money to bail out rioters in Minnesota. Rep. Nancy Pelosi called for uprisings. Rep. Ayanna Pressley called for unrest in the streets. Chris Cuomo defended non-peaceful protests. Rep. Maxine Waters called for Republicans to be harassed in public. The list goes on and on.
Let alone other routine examples of hyperbolic nonsense which would — based on the Democratic Party’s metrics — amount to incitement of violence, such as the claim that Trump is a Nazi or a white nationalist.
So, what changed?
