Kamala Harris Sucks At Basketball: So What?

Dunking on Kamala Harris for being bad at basketball is an indication of just how mind-numbingly dim-witted our culture has become.

Our society enforces a bizarre behavioral expectation regarding our elected officials: on a routine basis, they must take part in various cultural activities to prove that they are “just like us.”

And, when they almost always fail, critics close in like vultures around a slab of road-kill, as if their inability to perform a certain task is indicative of either their job-related ineptitude, or their “less than” status as a human being.

Now, I think Vice President Kamala Harris is one of the worst and most incompetent members of the Biden administration — as well as the American political world more broadly. Her ascension to (supposedly) the second most powerful position in the country involved sleeping her way to reasonable prominence in California, running one of the worst presidential campaigns in history, and then immediately endorsing Joe Biden as her running mate after having called him racist and likely guilty of sexual assault.

While in office, Harris has achieved quite literally nothing, despite the mainstream media’s attempt to defend the “historic” Vice President. “Exasperation and dysfunction: Inside Kamala Harris' frustrating start as vice president,” CNN wrote. “Kamala Harris: The absentee VP by design,” The Hill explained. “Kamala’s Conundrum: She’s Doing a Great Job But Her Story’s Not Getting Out,” The Daily Beast noted…un-ironically.

In almost every meaning of the word, Kamala Harris sucks.
